Timothee Chalamet and David Beckham were present during the France vs Spain clash tonight.
France took on Spain in an exciting FIFA World Cup 2026 semi-final clash at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on July 14. Despite being one of the tournament favourites, Les Bleus crashed out after a 2-0 loss to La Roja tonight.
Several football and Hollywood stars were in attendance at the stadium, including members of the Spanish team that won the FIFA World Cup 2010 trophy, as well as Javier Bardem. Bardem’s ‘Dune’ co-star Timothee Chalamet was also pictured in the stands, cheering on France, his father’s country.
Before the clash, Chalamet and his father, Marc, were pictured having a lighthearted discussion with former England midfielder David Beckham, another star present in the stands.

Oyarzabal, Porro fire Spain to victory
Despite the star power backing them, Les Bleus suffered a demoralising defeat at the hands of the European champions. Mikel Oyarzabal gave La Roja the lead from the spot after Lucas Digne conceded the penalty. Pedro Porro doubled the lead in the 58th minute, finishing a fine team move.
William Saliba was forced off in the first half with an injury. Despite several changes in the second half from Didier Deschamps, Les Bleus could not make a comeback in the contest. As a result, La Roja became the first finalist of this year’s expanded 48-team edition in North America.
