Aston Villa’s teenage sensation Brian Madjo had a dream debut in the UEFA Super Cup 2026 clash against Paris Saint-Germain on August 12, scoring in the 45th minute to put his side level against the European champions. He is now the youngest-ever scorer in a European final (17Y 212D).
This was the first competitive goal for the English forward, who was registered this season after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) accepted Villa’s claim against FIFA’s appeal on the former Metz player.
Madjo was born in England and grew up in Luxembourg. He played for them three times last year before joining England‘s Under-17 team.
Villa signed six-foot-four attacker Madjo in January. However, FIFA’s laws prohibit international transfers of youngsters under 18, citing his Luxembourg nationality.
Villa, the UEFA Europa League champions, appealed FIFA’s judgement to CAS, citing Madjo’s English citizenship and birthplace.

He has already pleased boss Unai Emery, netting four goals in the 2026 preseason, especially two goals against Walsall.
