Heaven Kilwa is considered one of the brightest prospects in English football.
Manchester City have been linked with a move for Aston Villa youngster Heaven Kilwa, with the Cityzens set to complete the signing of the 16-year-old. The move was revealed by journalist Fabrizio Romano, who said that the winger has signed the paperwork required to complete the transfer.
Kilwa recently played for the Aston Villa U-18 side. However, his contract expired at the end of the season, allowing him to move to City. He will join City’s academy side, with Enzo Maresca earmarking him as one for the future.
This summer, Man City have spent big money on signing some established stars. Elliott Anderson joined from Nottingham Forest for £120m. However, the club has also invested in future stars, and Kilwa is the latest to switch to the Etihad Stadium.

Heaven Kilwa’s career so far
Kilwa is an English attacker who primarily plays as a left winger, but is also capable of playing on the right and through the middle.
He started his career with Aston Villa’s youth side. He made six appearances in the U18 Premier League last season, scoring two goals. He scored for both the Villa U-16 and U-18 sides on the same day in October 2025.
However, he departed Villa after rejecting a scholarship offer and entered free agency. Now, he is set to join City’s academy side, where he will link up with other young players in City’s academy, including Stephen Mfuni, Ryan McAidoo and Mahamadou Sangare.
