As reported by Sky Germany, Borussia Dortmund and Genk have struck an agreement to sign Konstantinos Karetsas, a Greek international.
The Belgian side will receive add-ons totalling an estimated €32 million from Die Schwarzgelben. The 18-year-old offensive midfielder will sign a five-year contract until 2031.
To make this manoeuvre happen, the Black and Yellows have been working nonstop. To ensure that this agreement closes, Sporting Director Nils Ole Book did not accompany the club to Japan.
Many people think Karetsas, one of the most admired young players in Europe right now, will be a valuable addition to the Dortmund team following the exits of Julian Brandt and Karim Adeyemi.

Attacking midfielder Konstantinos Karetsas, an 18-year-old Greek professional football player, is regarded as one of Europe’s best up-and-coming players. He just agreed to join Borussia Dortmund on a five-year contract after leaving Belgian team KRC Genk.
Born to Greek parents in Belgium, Karetsas attended Genk’s renowned youth academy and became well-known for his exceptional dribbling, vision, and playmaking skills.
