Kylian Mbappe and company were ruthless in attack, and a brilliant performance from Swedish goalkeeper Jacob Widell Zetterstrom prevented a much more one-sided result.
After hitting the goalpost twice early in the match, Mbappe put his side ahead in the 45th minute. It was a brilliant move from the Real Madrid star, who wove his way past the defenders before finding the bottom corner.
Michael Olise then set up Bradley Barcola in the second half to double the lead. The Bayern Munich star registered another assist in the 74th minute, setting up Mbappe’s second goal of the night. It was a comfortable win for Didier Deschamps’ men, with Mike Maignan being barely tested in the French goal.
