Led by Michael Carrick, Manchester United are ready for their second club friendly fixture ahead of the new season. They will lock horns with the Eliteserien side Rosenborg at the Lerkendal Stadion in Trondheim, Norway.
The Red Devils were stunned after the EFL Championship club Wrexham defeated them 1-0 in their previous friendly fixture. Carrick did not have major stars in the squad to play with. Manchester United still managed to control the tempo somehow.
Many youngsters in the team got valuable minutes ahead of the new season. The Premier League giants are now getting ready for their second pre-season friendly. They will yet again be without many of their top players.
New signing Andrey Santos is present in the travelling squad. He will be looking to step up his game. A positive link-up play with Bryan Mbeumo is surely going to help the Red Devils.

Sesko scored 11 crucial goals for Manchester United during the Premier League 2025-26 campaign. The young forward from Slovenia has been an important asset for the Red Devils on the attacking front.
He might return to the squad for Man United’s next friendly fixture. It is going to be against the LaLiga side Atletico Madrid.
