The Red Devils can look for alternatives in the market.
Manchester United have already completed three moves this summer, but Michael Carrick’s attacking line still needs reinforcements.
Manchester United cannot afford to ignore their need for new faces in the final third. At least one wide forward is required before the transfer window closes.
Following West Ham United’s relegation, Crysencio Summerville looked to be a priority target. But the Red Devils, along with rival bidders AS Roma, were outbid by a stunning £68 million ($91.4 million) offer from Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal.
Manchester United must now go elsewhere on their wishlist. Happily, there are still plenty of wide men—established and emerging—to recruit this summer.
List of six wingers Manchester United can sign after missing out on Crysencio Summerville

| S.No. | Player |
| 6 | Matias Fernandez-Pardo |
| 5 | Said El Mala |
| 4 | Antonio Nusa |
| 3 | Iliman Ndiaye |
| 2 | Rafael Leao |
| 1 | Bradley Barcola |
6. Matias Fernandez-Pardo
If Manchester United look into the French league, they could identify a promising transfer target. Matias Fernandez-Pardo of Lille has a growing list of admirers after two strong seasons in Ligue 1. Last season, the 21-year-old scored eight goals and assisted five times.
Fernandez-Pardo typically plays on the left flank, but he is also frequently used as a centre striker for Lille. After an impressive 2025-26 season, he was named in Belgium’s FIFA World Cup 2026 roster. However, he only appeared in three games for the Red Devils.
5. Said El Mala
Said El Mala, a rising star at FC Köln, is attracting a lot of interest this summer after scoring 13 goals and providing four assists in 36 games last season.
Given his potential and technical abilities, the 19-year-old’s absence from Germany’s World Cup lineup was rather shocking.
4. Antonio Nusa
Antonio Nusa was one among many who boosted his growing name in North America this summer. He was shining all the way to the quarterfinals for Norway. A stunning strike against Côte d’Ivoire exemplified his abilities.
He’s an amazing creative player, even if he has to focus on fine-tuning his final output. Additionally, he may need to work on selecting the best times to display his skill set.
3. Iliman Ndiaye
The Everton winger Iliman Ndiaye has already established himself as a true star. He thrives in a defensive-minded squad with his directness, technical skill, and goal-scoring ability. Following 11 goals in 2024-25, he scored six more last season, along with three assists.
2. Rafael Leao

Leão has notified the Italian giants of his intention to start a new chapter this summer. There will surely be plenty of suitors. The winger’s cleverness, pace, and great dribbling skills make him an interesting prospect.
So does his record of 20 or more goals and assists in four of his previous five seasons. Leão may not be a hit at Old Trafford, but he is an interesting bet worth taking.
1. Bradley Barcola

Now that the World Cup is over, it seems inevitable that transfer talk around Bradley Barcola will flare up.
Barcola, who is now PSG’s fourth-choice forward, may be prepared to consider a move away from France if his minutes are seriously threatened this season. While Liverpool and Arsenal are presently the major suitors, there’s no reason Manchester United shouldn’t be looking into the dynamic 23-year-old.
