Nottingham Forest and Arsenal faced off in Sunday’s final Premier League clash at the City Ground.
Tricky Trees boss Oliver Glasner sent out significant alarm bells among the Forest supporters on Friday when he disclosed that captain and creative talisman Morgan Gibbs-White was a doubt for the encounter through injury.
Morgan Gibbs-White wasn’t included in the matchday squad for the trip of the holders, and Glasner has introduced a total of two adjustments to his starting XI from last weekend’s 3-1 loss to Crystal Palace.

“Morgan Gibbs–White is a doubt” he couldn’t train the entire week with us,” boss Oliver Glasner said at his pre-match press conference on Friday.
“But it looks like he can join tomorrow’s session.”
“He had an individual session today with our rehab coaches, and he suffered a minor muscle injury at Palace. Then we have to see how he reacts today and how he deals with tomorrow’s session, and then how we take the final decision.”
However, despite having some hopes, the player was not included in the matchday squad as he failed to recover in time from injury.
The home manager also made a defensive change with Jair Cunha coming into the three-man backline in place of Ola Aina, who slips to the bench.
Nottingham Forest have been encouraged by the return from injury of Nikola Milenkovic, although the centre-back is only healthy enough for a spot on the bench.
