Rodrigo De Paul was shown a yellow card in the England vs Argentina match tonight.
Argentina secured a dramatic 2-1 win over England in the FIFA World Cup 2026 semi-final at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, on July 15. Anthony Gordon put the Three Lions ahead in the 55th minute, but late goals from Enzo Fernandez and Lautaro Martinez powered the defending champions to a comeback victory.
The result powered La Albiceleste to the final, where they are scheduled to face Spain at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on July 19. Despite the incredible turnaround, head coach Lionel Scaloni would have been disappointed to see veteran midfielder Rodrigo De Paul receive a booking deep into stoppage time.
Following Martinez’s winner in the 92nd minute, the Three Lions looked to restart the action right away.
