The Argentine could leave the club in the summer.
This week, Alejandro Garnacho will meet with representatives of Manchester United to talk about a possible departure.
After playing only 20 minutes during Wednesday’s 1-0 UEFA Europa League final loss to Spurs, the 20-year-old was incensed.
He said: “I’ve played every round until I reached the final, but I only played 20 minutes today. I’ll enjoy the summer and then we’ll see.”
The winger was subsequently “thrown under the bus” by Ruben Amorim in Bilbao, according to his brother, who fueled the flames.
In recent months, Alejandro Garnacho’s frustration with the United head coach has grown. Additionally, ESPN reports that his relationship with him is no longer positive.
In the upcoming days, United officials are anticipated to meet with the winger and his advisors to negotiate a transfer away.
If a good offer comes up, Man Utd executives are reportedly open to negotiating a sale. Throughout the second half of the season, Alejandro Garnacho has been dissatisfied with his role in the team.
Additionally, he is unhappy with Amorim’s handling of the circumstances surrounding his selection for the Europa League final.
According to reports, Manchester United want over £60 million for the Argentina international. Since January, Chelsea have been strongly linked to a deal for him. It is also believed that Napoli are also interested.
Additionally, according to ESPN, Garnacho’s agents anticipate increased interest from Saudi Pro League teams and Premier League competitors.
During the January transfer window, Garnacho drew interest from Chelsea and Napoli, but neither team was able to come to an agreement with United. The Red Devils had even dropped their asking price to €65 million (£54.8 million).
After releasing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Paris Saint-Germain for €70 million (£58.9 million), Napoli, who were hoping to add a new winger, also disclosed that Garnacho’s pay demands contributed to the January deal’s collapse.
According to the source, United plan to sell Antony, Marcus Rashford, and Jadon Sancho in order to generate an additional £90 million. Garnacho’s deal with United currently has three years left on it.
