Angola vs Ghana Prediction, lineups, betting tips & odds
Palancas Negras surprised everyone with four wins in four group games so far.
It’s matchday five in AFCON Qualifiers Group F, and Angola’s hosting Ghana in a match that, let’s just say, where neither have anything to lose. The hosts have already punched their ticket to the next round, sitting pretty with 12 points from four matches. But it’s Ghana who are stuck with just a couple of points.
Angola have been the real surprise, riding a six-game winning streak and holding strong since March. Sure, Ghana have fared better in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. But missing out on AFCON would be a huge blow for them.
Kick-Off:
Friday, November 15, 7 PM UK
Saturday, November 16, 12:30 AM IST
Location: Estadio 11 de Novembro
Form
Angola (in AFCON qualifiers): W-W-W-W
Ghana (in AFCON qualifiers): L-D-D-L
Players to Watch
Milson (Angola)
In the absence of the seasoned veteran in Mabululu (who had scored 3 goals already), Milson must bring his goalscoring persona from the wing. Well, he has scored twice in the qualifiers already and one of them has been against Ghana. So, fans will expect him to repeat that feat yet again.
Mohammed Kudus (Ghana)
Versatility is one, now, couple that with explosiveness you get Mohammed Kudus. How good is he? So much so that he’s got the Premier League talking about him. Sadly, though, he has not been able to replicate the domestic form in the international competitions. But, the hope is he could be a key to this one last push.
Match Facts
- Angola have just conceded once in four games in the qualifiers so far
- On the flip side, Ghana have just scored once so far

Injury and Team News
Angola’s lineup is taking a bit of a hit ahead of the Ghana clash. Joao Batxi’s out due to personal reasons, Clinton Mata and Mabululu are nursing injuries, and Ricardo Batista is sidelined with family matters. A few gaps to fill, but Angola will be looking to keep momentum alive.
Ghana aren’t without their own setbacks. Key men Ibrahim Osman and Inaki Williams will miss out. Williams, especially, is a big loss as he battles a hamstring injury that’ll keep him off the pitch until December. Both squads have to shuffle things around, making for an interesting matchup!

Match Prediction for Burkina Faso vs Senegal
Angola has not been that explosive in the qualifications so far. But they have just done enough to make sure they keep it rolling. On the other hand, Ghana have been a shocking side to watch. But on paper, the visitors still look strong. However, we predict neither to walk away with all three points.
Prediction: Angola 0 – 0 Ghana
