Anthony Elanga scored his second goal of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in style. During Sweden’s match against Japan, he gave the Swedes an equaliser.
Despite falling down early in the half, Elanga managed to deliver something remarkable in the 62nd minute. The Newcastle United attacker received the ball on the right flank and was able to move centrally.
He seized the ball with his weaker left foot and absolutely smashed it into the top corner. The Japanese goalie was unable to react in time. Anthony Elanga scored a stunning goal to help his team come back into the game and tie it 1-1.
