Argentina announce squad for November international break; Lionel Messi will lead once again

Lionel Scaloni’s side will face Paraguay and Peru in the World Cup qualifying matches.
This Tuesday, the Argentina national team revealed its squad for the World Cup qualifying games in November. At La Bombonera, the Albiceleste will welcome Peru on Tuesday, November 19, and play Paraguay on Thursday, November 14.
Argentina have been outstanding in every game and are presently leading their 2026 CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying group. Their lone defeat, though, came against, Colombia, who are currently three points below them in the rankings.
They will look to maintain their top rank and further secure participation in the 2026 World Cup competition if they win both games.
Messi has been included in the team, but certain players have also been left out. Out of AS Roma’s Argentine players, only Leandro Paredes was selected for the next matches for the national team.
Leandro Paredes is one of the players called up by Argentine coach Lionel Scaloni for the games against Paraguay and Peru, which are necessary for qualifying for the upcoming World Cup.
Meanwhile, Scaloni has ruled out Paulo Dybala and Matias Soulé. The forwards won’t play in the November games after being called up for the October games.
However, as Argentina near the break, there are also new players in the team who will be hoping to establish their value in the November games.
