Argentina vs Colombia: All-time head-to-head record | Copa America 2024 final

The two heavyweights will compete for the Copa America title.
More than three weeks since the start of the Copa America 2024 and after 54 high-end dramatic games, we finally have two finalists for the title.
Reigning Copa America and world champions, Argentina have once again made it to the final of a major tournament, making it three straight finals for them. The top-ranked national team in the world are flying high at the moment and nothing seems to be coming in their way.
Lionel Scaloni’s approach to the Copa America 2024 has been a bit different than he had opted for Argentina’s games at past major tournaments. With Lionel Messi taking a more advanced position on the field and avoiding dropping deep, Scaloni adopted an entirely different philosophy, to make this star-studded Argentinian side more unpredictable.
Argentina have seemed to get more and more comfortable with the approach as the tournament has progressed and after their recent dominant display against Canada, Messi and Co. seem to be in the mood for a historic Copa America win.
In their way, however, stand a fiery and unrestrained Colombia side, that has defied all odds throughout the tournament to make it to the final.
Colombia are absolutely rocking at the Copa America this year. Los Cafeteros are unbeaten in the tournament so far and have faced off against the likes of Brazil, Uruguay and Costa Rica, to reach the final.
Nestor Lorenzo’s approach has been working wonders for Colombia ever since he took over the national team in July 2022. The Argentine has transformed Colombia from one of the worst performers in the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers to a side that is now among the best-performing national teams in the world.
Colombia’s organized defensive system matched with an equally potent and skillful attacking unit, provides them with the perfect blend of both aspects and if required, they can rely on their talisman James Rodriguez to stir things up for them.
With Colombia looking at their best version since the 2014 World Cup, it is quite fair to say that the Copa America 2024 final between Argentina and Colombia is going to be a classic South American clash. The passion and atmosphere will be unmatched and it will be pretty interesting to see which one of the two sides gets their hands on the silverware.
