Bukayo Saka could be doubtful for Manchester City game

On Sunday, Mikel Arteta will be expecting to have his entire team available when Arsenal visits Manchester City.

it’s the biggest match of the Gunners’ campaign so far, with the winner taking the lead in a fiercely contested three-horse battle for the crown. Many would support Arteta’s team to win their first championship in 20 years should Arsenal triumph at the Etihad for the first time since 2015.

The Gunners nearly gave up on their title hopes last season when they crumbled in this seismic match. Right now, Arsenal is at the top of the tree, and Sunday’s match is just the beginning of a frenetic run-in.

Nonetheless, there are a lot of injury concerns for the north Londoners; here’s the most recent information.

Due to an injury, Bukayo Saka was unable to play in the rematch, and his availability for Sunday’s match is in question. This season, the winger has been through the mill once more, and he arrived at the England camp bruised.

After that, he returned home, providing some much-needed rest before the pivotal meeting. Given the perceived slight nature of his muscle injury, it would be unexpected if Arteta did not include him in his starting lineup this coming weekend.

Gabriel Martinelli, who hasn’t played since suffering a foot injury against Sheffield United on March 4, is an exception to this rule. There are legitimate doubts over his availability on Sunday; nevertheless, some Arsenal insiders indicate there’s a chance he’ll make the matchday roster.

center-back Given that he spent the break tending to his own foot ailment, Gabriel ought to be right. He’s not going to miss the journey to Manchester in any manner.

Furthermore, during the interval, QPR was decisively defeated behind closed doors by Thomas Partey and Takehiro Tomiyasu. This Saturday, both should be fine to play, although starting slots seem uncertain.

Though Arteta may try to get the Dutchman restored and running before time runs out for the Champions League quarterfinals, Jurrien Timber is also getting closer to making his comeback.
