In spite of potential interest from Manchester City and Liverpool, Bayern Munich are eager to get the youngster Jamal Musiala to a new deal, according to Sport.

The 21-year-old’s contract with the German champions runs until 2026, but the source claims that the Bavarian team is eager to extend it in order to ward off interest from other teams.

This season, Musiala has been an excellent player for Bayern, recording 12 goals and seven assists across all competitions. Nevertheless, he has drawn interest from a number of elite European teams, therefore Bayern is keen to extend an improved contract offer to the Germany international.
