Belgium apologise for brutal Kylian Mbappe troll ahead of Euro 2024 round of 16 clash

The Red Devils will face Les Bleus in the last 16 of Euro 2024.
Following the release of a video on their social media platforms featuring Amadou Onana threatening to kick France’s skipper Kylian Mbappe during their upcoming match in the European Championship round of 16, Belgium issued an apology.
Comedian Pablo Andres sings “Who will kick Mbappe’s shin?” in the video. The 22-year-old Onana of Everton then responds, “Amadou Onana.”
The Royal Belgian Football Association subsequently removed it.
At the beginning of the team’s everyday news conference on Saturday, Stefan van Loock, the media manager for Belgium, expressed regret.
“The video was intended to be humorous but has since been taken offline,” added Van Loock. We would like to apologise to anyone we may have offended by this. This concludes the matter for us.”
The video gained a lot of media attention and was not well-welcomed on French social media.
Comedian Andres from Belgium does a lot of work for the Belgian federation. He creates videos for their social media pages and conducts player interviews on YouTube.
The ‘golden age’ of Belgian players has largely gone, but Romelu Lukaku and Kevin De Bruyne haven’t stopped showing up for their nation, despite the former’s three goals that have been denied by VAR. On the other hand, France have not yet performed to the level predicted before the start of the Euro 2024 event.
The Red Devils are hoping to advance to the quarterfinals on Monday, and Onana will have the opportunity to leave his mark on Mbappe and France. The game’s winner will play the victorious team from Portugal and Slovenia the following weekend.
