Canada national football team are all set to make its first-ever appearance in America’s premier international football tournament, the Copa America 2024. Currently ranked 49 by FIFA, the team will play under new coach Jesse Marsch.

4. Ismael Kone

The 27-year-old midfielder plays for Portuguese giants FC Porto. He has even represented Portugal seven times at U21 level. He featured in 28 Liga Portugal 2023-24 games, scoring and assisting twice each.
Stephen Eustaquio has been a jewel for the Canadian football team. To date, he has represented Canada 37 times, scoring four goals. He also hails the ability to play as a CDM. He is expected to play a pivotal role in Jesse Marsch’s system.

LOSC Lille’s young & lethal centre-forward Jonathan David has caught the attention of Ligue 1 clubs with his fast speed and premier finishing skills. He rocked the French League with 19 goals and four assists in 34 games this completed season.
His ability to launch shots is an asset for the Canadian team. One can expect him to shock bigger teams in Copa America with unexpected goals from long ranges. He hails an illustrious and super impressive international career where he has scored 26 times while providing 16 assists in just 48 games.
1. Alphonso Davies
Davies is surely the most popular and high-profile player of this team. The 1.85m left-back made headlines for his electric pace when he clinched the Champions League with Bayern Munich. He was one of the best performers in Bayern’s historic 8-2 triumph against FC Barcelona.
