These two sides have met twice so far in history. It was back in 2000 when the Grand Hamad Stadium in Doha, Qatar, hosted the first meeting between these two sides.

Current Bosnia coach Sergej Barbarez was also playing in that game. The hosts scored two goals, and Qatar won the first meeting between these two sides.

Stadium Grbavica in Bosnia & Herzegovina hosted the next friendly in 2010. Both sides failed to qualify for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

It took Vedad Ibisevic just nine minutes to draw the first blood after a brilliant assist from Edin Dzeko to make it 1-0 for Bosnia.

The home team were leading 1-0 but just before the hour mark, Qatar got a penalty and Wesam Rizik did not fail to convert and the scores were levelled.

Both sides tried pushing harder for the winner but the game did not have more goals and the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
