Brazil announce squad for October international break; Alisson included

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson is back after injury & is already training with the Reds at Anfield.
Head coach of the Brazil national football team Dorival Júnior announced his squad for the upcoming October international break. Two games will be played out in that break by the Selecao. Both of those matches are crucial for the nation as it pertains to the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
In the CONMEBOL World Cup qualifiers, Brazil currently hold the fifth position. They have so far played eight qualifying games in which four ended in defeats. That’s a bad sight for a nation rich in football history and glory.
Dorival Júnior’s team will be motivated to add more wins this October break as they have managed only three so far. Argentina, the table toppers, are on 18 points haul while the Brazilians have just 10 on board. Nevertheless the games against Chile and Peru, hopefully will go well for them and their fans.
Looking at the chosen squad we see two of the best Premier League goalkeepers, Ederson and Alisson making their way in the team, followed by Al-Nassr’s Bento. Juventus captain Danilo joins the defence along with Real Madrid’s Eder Militao. Militao isn’t the only Los Blancos player in the squad.
In attack we see the trio of Endrick, Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior from the Madrid based club. Gabriel Martinelli of Arsenal surely will find a hard time to fit in as he will also get competition from Raphinha of Barcelona for a place in the starting XI.
Nevertheless Chile and Peru game provide Brazil an opportunity they would not want to squander, to keep themselves in sights of World Cup qualifications.
