A last-minute equaliser ensured that Spurs departed Anfield with a point after Richarlison’s heroics for Tottenham Hotspur against Liverpool in the Premier League secured his team a crucial point on Sunday, 15 March.

For Richarlison, who became just the third Brazilian football player to reach 100 Premier League goal involvements, the goal was also a turning point for him.

With his late equaliser against Liverpool on 15 March, Richarlison hit 100 goal involvements in Premier League.

The forward established himself in English football with Watford before joining Everton in a £40 million transfer following the Hornets’ relegation from the top division.

In three of his four seasons at Everton, he scored 10 or more goals in the league, solidifying his status as a fan favourite. But in 2022, as Everton sought to balance the budget, he was sold to Tottenham for £60 million. Throughout his Premier League career, he has scored 73 goals and provided 27 assists.

During his time with Manchester City and now Arsenal, Gabriel Jesus has already amassed 118 league goal involvements. After moving from Palmeiras to the former in January 2017, he had an instant effect, scoring seven goals in his first 10 league outings.

Jesus produced 13 league goals the next season, helping City become the first side in league history to achieve 100 points. However, at Arsenal, his time has been mainly affected by recurring injuries.

With 132 goal involvements in the league, Roberto Firmino sets the standard for Samba stars in English football.

Firmino flourished after joining Liverpool from Hoffenheim in a £29 million deal in 2015. Firmino became an essential component of the Reds’ success after Jurgen Klopp shifted the midfield player into a centre-forward position.

Alongside Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, he formed a dangerous front trio. They surely helped him get to his 82 league goals and 50 assists total. During his eight seasons at Anfield, Firmino won numerous significant awards, including the 2020 Premier League and the 2019 UEFA Champions League.
