Brighton injury update ahead of Nottingham Forest clash in Premier League

The Seagulls have been hit with some unfortunate injuries.
Although Brighton & Hove Albion head coach Fabian Hurzeler stated three weeks ago that the Japanese winger was âvery closeâ to recovering for the trip to Crystal Palace, the most recent information on Kaoru Mitoma is that he will return before Christmas.
Back in September, during the 3-1 victory against Chelsea, Mitoma hurt his foot. Despite appearing to be back in training, he is still unable to play pain-free.
Fabian Hurzeler gives the latest Brighton injury update
Meanwhile, James Milner is dealing with a âsmall muscle injuryâ that he sustained five weeks ago following the 4-2 loss at Manchester United. Hurzeler stated that the veteran was on the verge of making a comeback. He will likely return to the field in April.
âOverall, we have good team news. All the players who were available last weekend are still available, and that is a positive. Tommy (Watson) is back. James is close, and Kaoru is close.â
For the Forest match, there was at least some positive Brighton team news. Lewis Dunk began on the bench against Brentford last weekend due to his recovery from sickness. However, the centre-back is expected to return to the starting lineup against Sean Dycheâs side.
In Dunkâs absence, Olivier Boscagli earned his Premier League debut. For the Frenchman, it was a mixed afternoon.
Tom Watsonâs comeback from an undisclosed injury will also help the Albion. Hurzeler will have a closer option to Mitoma than Diego Gomez, who has been playing left flank for the majority of the last eight weeks.
Meanwhile, Adam Webster is ruled out for the entire season after suffering an ACL injury, while Solly March could return to action next month.
