Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes to decide on future after Euro 2024

Fernandes says he will decide his United future after Euro 2024
Bruno Fernandes has stated that he won’t consider leaving Manchester United until after the 2024 Summer Olympics.
After a poor season with United, the attacking midfielder will be looking to succeed with Portugal in this summer’s championship in Germany. The Red Devils are already destined to finish below the top four in the Premier League, but they still have a chance to win the FA Cup despite Manchester City, their local rivals.
Fernandes, who has contributed 15 goals and 11 assists in 2023–24, has been one of United’s rare bright spots this season. The 29-year-old has a one-year option to extend his contract, which keeps him under agreement until 2026.
This summer, Manchester United will have a busy transfer window as they try to bounce back under co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s new direction. The head of INEOS has begun to assemble a new hiring team that will not sign high-priced duds.
This summer, Manchester United plans to be adaptable as few players are certain to stay at Old Trafford. Under more stringent financial constraints, the team is reportedly open to hearing bids for the majority of players; only Kobbie Mainoo, Rasmus Hojlund, and Alejandro Garnacho are reportedly off-limits.

“I’m not thinking about other things at the moment. Obviously, it doesn’t just depend on me, does it?” he told DAZN Portugal.
“A player always has to want to be here, but at the same time, you have to want him to stay. At the moment, I feel there’s that on both sides.”
“So, if you want me to be very honest,” he ominously added, “If I have to think about not continuing in the Premier League, it won’t be until after the Euros because nothing will be able to take my focus away from the FA Cup final and the Euros, as there’s nothing more important than that at the moment.”
Bruno Fernandes is a key member of the team, but it doesn’t seem like his future is totally assured despite not being on the list of 12 players rumoured to be on the losing end. Even though other key players leave, the star is still one of the players most likely to stay in the Northwest.
