The Canada national football team, one of the tournament co-hosts, are set to make a mark in the competition. They will begin their campaign against Bosnia & Herzegovina at Toronto Stadium.

The nation’s most crucial player will undoubtedly be Alphonso Davies. He is also set to captain the side in the 2026 campaign. The Bayern Munich star was in doubt for the competition; however, he has managed to ensure he is fit in time for the tournament.
