Chelsea injury update ahead of Burnley match; two new setbacks for the Blues

Robert Sanchez and Trevoh Chalobah seem to have suffered an injury
Robert Sanchez and Trevoh Chalobah have suffered injuries for Chelsea ahead of their expected return to Premier League play. In Chelsea’s last four games following their loss to Liverpool at Wembley in the Carabao Cup Final, Chalobah has started at centre-back.
Mauricio Pochettino experienced yet another setback as a result of his injury since he and Axel Disasi have begun to work together. Due to the absence of Levi Colwill, Pochettino will have to bring back Thiago Silva or Benoit Badiashile to anchor Chelsea’s defence.
Carney Chukwuemeka and backup custodian Sanchez have both been added to the Stamford Bridge injured list. This week, Chukwuemeka left the England Under-21 team in order to receive treatment at Cobham.
As Pochettino’s injury troubles worsen, Romeo Lavia is out for the remainder of the campaign and Christopher Nkunku is still injured. Wesley Fofana and Reece James have been away for a long time.Chelsea will take on Burnley in an attempt to close the season successfully and begin the final stretch on a high note. The Blues are still wallowing in the Premier League’s lower half of the standings.
Once again, Chelsea’s season has been excruciatingly frustrating due to their numerous new signings failing to click and injuries playing a significant role in their performance. Lavia has made just one appearance, while important players Christopher Nkunku and team leader Reece James additionally played very little.

Chelsea supporters will be hoping that these most recent taunts aren’t too serious, even though Chalobah was never really expected to be a fixture in Pochettino’s squad.However, since joining CFC from Brighton in the summer of last year, Sanchez has primarily been the team’s top goal scorer.
While there are undoubtedly many things about Chelsea that Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali can point fingers at, it’s important to keep in mind how much their season has been affected by injury.If Lavia, Nkunku, and James had been available more often, they undoubtedly would have had a much greater influence. Ben Chilwell has also missed a good number of games, which has forced Pochettino to attempt things like playing centre-back Levi Colwill as a left-back.
