The Blues are currently 11th in the Premier League
During the upcoming summer transfer window, Chelsea are reportedly planning to offload as many as fifteen players, including Armando Broja, Raheem Sterling, and Conor Gallagher. Without question, Chelsea has dominated the transfer trade out of all the Premier League teams over the past few seasons.
Without question, Chelsea has dominated the transfer market out of all the Premier League teams over the past few seasons.
The ongoing influx and outflow of players from what seems to be the Stamford Bridge revolving door is a topic for debate, but whether or not it has truly worked to their advantage is another matter.
Over the past year, the Blues have made a few of the most prominent transfers in international sport, including two transactions totalling more than £105 million for midfielders Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez.
In addition to those, the Blues’ spending capacity has increased over the past few seasons with deals of £62 million for Mykhailo Mudryk, £75 million for defender Wesley Fofana, and £52 million for Christopher Nkunku.

This has occurred even in the midst of a change in ownership that resulted in American billionaire Todd Boehly take the lead role in the Blues executive level.
But because of manager Mauricio Pochettino’s inconsistent play on the pitch, many have once again demanded a star-selection process and an infusion of new players, similar to what the Argentinean had implemented when he took over the summertime departures of eighteen first-team players upon his arrival in June of last year.
Although there is still time to mend the early damage to their relationship with the fanbase, Boehly and company won’t be too happy with the damage to their multi-year deals and emphasis on pulling in young, inexperienced talents to develop the club’s future in compromise of current circumstances have done.
Many people will be hoping for more seasoned players to sign throughout the summer, but fans need to realise that selling will help the club in earning profit.
