The Uruguayan striker has been linked with a move away from Anfield

There have been a lot of discussions over the future of Liverpool centre forward Darwin Nunez in recent days. There is a cloud of uncertainty regarding the future of the Uruguayan striker. Much of the attention is directed towards the Instagram profile of Darwin Nunez. He has recently removed all the pictures from his time at Anfield and only features the images of his playing time for Benfica and his national team.

Nunez has continued to feature in the red stripe of the Merseyside club since he moved to Anfield for a fee of £85m in the summer transfer window of 2022. He has attracted enough criticism from the fans and analysts alike for his exploits for the Reds. However, he has still managed to score 33 goals in 94 games for the club. Now, it is in the air, that the big centre forward wants a change in his club. He has a contract running in the club till 2028, but the fact that he has deleted his Liverpool pictures have indicated that he may definitely move on, come the summer transfer window. 5. Barcelona
