Colombia and Panama are set to lock horns in the third quarter-final of Copa America 2024. The game is expected to be fierce and challenging with both teams hailing a good run of form in the group stage.

Colombia, the 2001 winners of the competition will surely look to dominate their opponents in this knock-out fixture, riding on Nestor Lorenzo’s tactical acumen. Los Cafeteros drew with the mighty Brazil football team after beating Paraguay and Costa Rica in style in the group stage. The team is currently enjoying a 17-game unbeaten streak.

Panama, on the other hand, have also made headlines in this competition, having beaten a formidable USA side after losing to Uruguay. The Thomas Christiansen-coached team also beat Bolivia in their last group-stage game. This happens to be Panama’s second appearance in the competition, making it into the first eight for the first time.
