CONFIRMED: Cristiano Ronaldo to miss Al-Nassr’s trip to India for FC Goa clash

Cristiano Ronaldo will not be traveling with Al-Nassr FC to Fatorda for their AFC Champions League Two (ACL2) group-stage encounter against FC Goa on October 22, 2025, the team has formally confirmed.

Accoing to TOI, Tarlier in the day, FC Goa were notified by the Saudi Pro League team that their captain will not be traveling to India, which is scheduled to arrive on Monday night. The team’s long-term strategy for managing Ronaldo’s who turned 40 this year, workload includes giving him a break.
Al-Nassr’s team is still full with international talent despite Cristiano Ronaldo’s absence, featuring Sadio Mane, Joao Felix, Inigo Martinez, and Kingsley Coman, all of whom played in their previous group-stage victories.
