Two of the best goal scorers of our generation, Robert Lewandowski and Cristiano Ronaldo, might soon be sharing a locker room in the Saudi Pro League. According to a number of sources, Ronaldo has urged Al-Nassr to make a significant approach for Lewandowski when his Barcelona contract ends.

Even at forty, Cristiano Ronaldo continues to be Al-Nassr’s mainstay on and off the field. Along with a hefty two-year extension worth about $237 million annually, the Portuguese icon recently acquired a 15% ownership position in the team and a growing amount of influence over transfer strategy.

Ronaldo has reportedly asked the team to recruit Robert Lewandowski in order to create what he sees as a “championship-winning strike partnership,” according to Fichajes.

As part of a long-term plan to improve the team’s and the league’s international reputation, the seasoned forward, who has already scored 105 goals in 118 games since moving to Saudi Arabia, is pushing to add more elite players to the Riyadh-based team.

Robert Lewandowski’s time at Barcelona is running out. Despite having more than 100 goals since signing from Bayern Munich in 2022, the Polish striker’s importance has been progressively diminished by injuries and tactical adjustments made by Hansi Flick.

Although his current contract expires in June 2026, it is very doubtful that the Blaugrana will extend it at the same high wage level. According to reports, Flick supports Lewandowski’s inevitable exit because of the club’s financial limitations and desire for a “generational change” in attack.

According to reports, the Riyadh team is willing to provide Ronaldo with another prominent striker and will aim to convince the Polish star to join the club next summer.
