Croatia at UEFA Euro 2024: Full squad, preview, match schedule, venue, telecast info

The Checkered Ones have been drawn in Group B alongside Italy, Spain and Albania.
As the Euro 2024 tournament in Germany approaches, all eyes are on Croatia, the underdogs who have consistently defied expectations on the international stage.
After their historic run to the 2018 World Cup final and a semifinal appearance in 2022, Croatia now sets its sights on Euro 2024
However, their journey in the European Championship has been less successful, with their best performance being a quarterfinal exit. As they set their sights on Euro 2024 in Germany, the nation aims to rewrite its narrative in the tournament.
The team will be led by the experienced 38-year-old Luka Modric, who forms a formidable midfield trio alongside Mateo Kovacic and Marcelo Brozovic. Modric, the 2018 Ballon d’Or winner and Real Madrid legend, will be playing his last major tournament, making this a swan song for the Croatian maestro.
Under the guidance of Zlatko Dalic, the country’s most successful coach, the team finished second in their Euro 2024 qualifying group, securing five wins and two defeats. Their top scorer, Andrej Kramaric, netted four goals, but the team’s strength lies in their collective effort, with 13 goals spread across seven players.
The 2018 World Cup finalists’ path to glory at Euro 2024 will be a challenge, as they find themselves in Group B, considered the toughest group, alongside powerhouses Spain and Italy. The fourth team in the group, Albania are heavily favoured to exit early.
Despite their underdog status, Croatia have consistently proven their ability to punch above their weight on the international stage.
