For their final group stage outing, the Czechia national football team will lock horns with the Mexico national football team. This 2026 FIFA World Cup contest is going to take place at the Mexico City Stadium.

The Czech Republic national football team are yet to secure a win in the flagship tournament this year. They faced a 1-2 defeat in their opening game by South Korea. It was a poor performance by them. The Repre were then held to a draw by South Africa. They conceded a late goal after giving up a penalty. The Miroslav Koubek-led side will be looking to come up with a top performance and it might give them a chance at securing a round of 32 spot.

Mexico are one of the co-hosts of the FIFA World Cup 2026. They became the first nation to secure a berth in the round of 32 after securing back-to-back wins in their group stage games. In their opening game they outplayed South Africa and then went on to take down South Korea by a 1-0 scoreline. Even though it was a narrow win, it was enough to send them to the knockout stage.
