"I dived into Google to check Arne Slot," says Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler

Liverpool have agreed to name Arne Slot as their next manager
Following the Feyenoord coach’s link to a transfer to Anfield, a legendary member of Liverpool brusquely confessed that he had to Google Arne Slot’s identity.
Jurgen Klopp is departing the team at the end of the season, and Liverpool have been working nonstop since January to find the ideal replacement.
Xabi Alonso, Roberto De Zerbi, Ruben Amorim, Thomas Tuchel, and Thomas Frank are just a few of the people who have been connected to the position.
It was claimed last week that Slot, the manager of Feyenoord, was the preferred candidate of Liverpool.Next, it was reported that Slot will take over for Klopp at Feyenoord after an agreement was made between the two teams.
Reds great Robbie Fowler acknowledged he had to Google Arne Slot in a Daily Mirror column.
He declared:
“I’ll be honest, I hadn’t a clue Slot was even in the conversation among the power brokers who run Liverpool.

“He wasn’t someone who jumped out at me as a candidate. In fact, I knew nothing about Slot at all or the way he plays and, probably like many people, I dived into Google to check him out.”
Fowler continued: “He’s done OK at Feyenoord the last couple of seasons, but only time will tell if he can take Liverpool to greater heights than Klopp managed.
“That will be a tall order, but the more pressing problem for Liverpool is getting some stability back into players feeling the effects of Jurgen’s imminent departure.”
In reference to Slot’s move to Liverpool, fellow Reds great Jamie Carragher stated:
“From Feyenoord to Liverpool is a huge jump and I think it shows at this moment that there’s probably a dearth of real top managers out there when you look at who Liverpool are going for.
