Do FA Cup winners qualify for Europa League?

FA Cup winners have always benefited from winning the trophy many times.
The FA Cup, the oldest continuously held club competition, provides clubs from all levels of the English league with a path to Wembley Stadium.
The final victory offers a significant financial boost and the possibility of a European spot. The 2025 final will take place at London, UK’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday, May 17.
Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Arsenal have all together won 13 of the last 14 cup finals, demonstrating how dominant the top Premier League teams have been in recent years.
The latest major upset came in 2013 when Wigan Athletic defeated Man City. With their Wembley triumph, Roberto Martinez’s team was demoted from the Premier League that season.
Before losing to Portsmouth in 2008, Cardiff City became the final’s last non-top-flight team to make it that far.
Meanwhile, the last team to win the cup outside the Premier League was Second Division side West Ham. Back then, Trevor Brooking’s iconic goal against holders Arsenal in 1980 secured the cup.
Do FA Cup winners qualify for the UEFA Europa League?
The FA Cup winners are guaranteed a place in the Europa League league phase (formerly group stages) the following season. But the qualifying scenarios can also be impacted by their Premier League performance.
The competition’s qualifying position awarded to the cup winner will be reassigned to the next-highest-ranked Premier League team if the victor places in the top four, earning them a spot in the UEFA Champions League, or fifth, earning them a seat in the Europa League.
In recent seasons, teams that finished outside of the Premier League’s European spots have had a fallback option after winning the trophy.
After placing eighth in the final league rankings and winning the competition last year, Man United secured a spot in the Europa League, while Tottenham, in fifth position, also booked their place.
