Howe’s Magpies are currently ninth in the league.
Eddie Howe, the head coach of Newcastle United, denied rumours that he was interested in a position at Manchester United, saying he is “very happy” at the moment.
Since Eddie Howe was hired by Newcastle in November 2021, only Pep Guardiola of Manchester City, Mikel Arteta of Arsenal, and Marco Silva of Fulham have managed a Premier League team for as long.
After Ruben Amorim was fired by Manchester United on Monday, Eddie Howe was asked if there was anything that would entice him to leave St James’ Park. He responded, “No. Not right now.”
Happiness in role is important for Eddie Howe

“The most important thing for me is happiness in the role, happiness in the job, the relationships that I have with the people around me.”
“That has not always been consistently good. Things can change at any football club, but I’m very happy at the moment.”
Eddie Howe and Paul Mitchell, the sporting director who quit last summer after less than a year on the job, had a falling out. However, Howe and Ross Wilson, Mitchell’s replacement, have rapidly come to an agreement.
Wilson is Howe’s third sporting director since taking over, while David Hopkinson is his second CEO following Darren Eales’ resignation due to illness.
Howe stated he is happy here “as long as he can “express himself in the best way possible and be the best version of himself at Newcastle.”
Newcastle have advanced to the Carabao Cup semifinals and are in the running for a Champions League last-16 play-off position. They are currently ninth in the Premier League, only two points behind fifth place.
Howe still has the support of Jamie Reuben, a minority shareholder, and the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, the club’s principal owners.
