Eder Militao & Arda Guler ruled out of World Cup? Real Madrid stars suffer serious injuries

Los Blancos have been hit with a double injury blow.
Due to two of their important players being sidelined for the remainder of the season, Real Madrid‘s modest chances of winning the LaLiga title in the final six games of the season appear slim now. Arda Guler and Eder Militao will both miss the season’s last few games.
During their match against Alaves on Tuesday, Militao hobbled out soon before halftime. At first, there was hope that the substitution was merely preventative.
Arda Guler, meanwhile, unexpectedly missed training on Thursday due to a medical test. He got scans on Thursday, even though it was anticipated that he would recover with simple rest.
Guler and Militao ruled out for the rest of the season

For the remainder of the season, both Guler and Militao will be out and should return before the start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. They would be out for three to four weeks after sustaining a grade two hamstring rupture.
If recovery doesn’t take long, they could be able to return in time for Real Madrid’s season-ending matches against Sevilla (A) and Athletic Club (H). Since the World Cup is only seven weeks away, neither player is likely to take the chance of returning too soon and risk suffering relapse.
Conversely, one of Militao’s potential replacements is scheduled to play again. Raul Asencio had an illness and was out for some time. He could make a cameo against Real Betis this weekend.
Meanwhile, both stars will aim to recover in time before the World Cup in the hope of representing their nations in the competition in the summer.
How long will Guler and Militao be out?
They are set to be out for three to four weeks.
What is the severity of their injury?
They have sustained a grade two hamstring rupture.
Will they return before the World Cup?
Yes, if the recuperation goes as planned.
