The Brazilian won the Campeonato Paulista against Santos

Before departing to join Real Madrid in the summer, teenage striker Endrick of Palmeiras, a Brazilian team, has won another championship. The 17-year-old’s squad defeated local rival Santos 2-0 on Sunday to help them win the Sao Paulo state title for the third time in a row.

Raphael Veiga’s opening goal in the 33rd minute came from a penalty drawn by Endrick, who netted two goals for Brazil in friendlies last month. In the 67th, Anibal Moreno scored the second goal. The first leg was won by Santos 1-0.

“I know I’m in a new generation, I’ve been through a lot. I have the dream of becoming an idol for all children,” Endrick said. “I know that is difficult because there are people who don’t like me, but I want to be a new idol for them. I want them to look at me and think that if I managed to be here, they can too.”

Additionally, Endrick was a member of the Palmeiras team that captured the Brazilian and Sao Paulo championships in 2022 and 2023.

He will be leaving Palmeiras in less than two months to sign a lucrative contract with Real Madrid in Spain. Endrick claimed he was frequently questioned about his impending transfer while he was playing for the national side in friendlies against Spain and England.

In addition, Endrick expressed gratitude to Palmeiras, where he competed in the juvenile ranks.

During the most recent international break, Endrick caused waves for the Brazilian national team when he struck double in four days at Wembley and Santiago Bernabeu.

Once again, the 17-year-old sensation has written even more history for Palmeiras.

During the Paulista Serie A1 final, he got the start for Palmeiras and helped the team come back from a 1-0 disadvantage in the first leg to secure the championship. In fact, that evening he was chosen as man of the match.He has already won five career trophies at the young age of seventeen, including two Campeonato Paulistas, one Supercopa do Brazil, and two Brasileiro Serie A championships.

Endrick has won his 5th career trophy at only 17 years old.
