Belgium vs Slovakia: Three key battles that could decide Euro 2024 clash

This will be just their fourth clash in international history.
Domenico Tedesco, the manager of Belgium, will have to be creative in order to fit his wealthy array of attacking weapons into his team’s opening matchup against Slovakia at Euro 2024.
Both left-wingers Leandro Trossard and Jeremy Doku, had successful seasons in the Premier League and should contribute to the offensive line-up alongside Romelu Lukaku and Kevin De Bruyne.
Slovakia’s assault will be led by Robert Bozenik of Boavista, with Leo Sauer, a teenage player for Feyenoord, serving as an alternative player off the sidelines.
Three key battles that may decide Belgium vs Slovakia Euro 2024 clash
3. Milan Skriniar vs Romelu Lukaku
Even though his parents are from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the former Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku will represent Belgium in his third European Championship.
Although the father of the AS Roma player represented the Leopards internationally, both of his kids are Belgian nationals. With 85 goals under his belt, Lukaku leads the Red Devils in goals scored all time and might add more in Germany.
He will go up against Milan Skriniar of PSG, who was outstanding for the Ligue 1 powerhouses last season as they advanced to the Champions League semifinals. Who will come out on top? Skriniar or Lukaku.

2. Stanislav Lobotka vs Kevin de Bruyne
As the lone senior player competing at the highest levels right now, Kevin de Bruyne will probably lead Belgium in this regard. With his skill, a diligent squad and some strong play from his strikers, Belgium might make it all the way to the championship game and possibly even win the glory that his generation has been waiting for.
Stanislav Lobotka will need to step up big to prevent the Man City star from creating problems. Kevin de Bruyne’s inventiveness is to unleash and find space, and provide his team with goal-scoring opportunities with his exquisite passing.
1. David Hancko vs Johan Bakayoko
With his strength, adaptability and acute attacking instincts, Bakayoko gives Belgium’s strong team more depth. He provides a strong goal-scoring threat and the ability to open doors for teammates as a forward.
A difficult assignment awaits David Hancko, who may be utilised at left back to prevent Bakayoko from harming Slovakia’s defence or creating any opportunities.
