Euro 2024: List of all nations knocked out of round of 16

Italy and Belgium are out of the tournament already.
Every game in the knockout stage of Euro 2024 is crucial for the teams trying to remain competitive in Germany.
Only 16 of the countries that made it through the group stage participated in the Round of 16, which means that eight teams will be leaving Germany before barely the first week of July. Now the quarterfinals are already taking shape with the likes of Germany, England and Spain having secured their spots.
The Euro 2024 began with a round-robin phase consisting of six groups of four thanks to the 24-team format. The top four teams in each group play each other, with the top two sides in each earning automatic passage to the Round of 16.
Starting from the Round of 16, all games that are tied at full-time proceed to 30 minutes of extra time and a penalty shootout if both teams still can’t be separated.
The hosts of the tournament, Germany defeated Denmark 2-0 in a game marred by controversy, earning their spot in the quarterfinals ahead of any other team. They had won the group, which featured a competitive Switzerland team.

In the quarterfinals, they go against Spain. To get here, the Spaniards defeated Georgia 4-1. They had won all of their previous games and have only let up one goal so far.
It appeared as though France and Belgium‘s round of 16 match would go to extra time, but Jan Vertonghen’s own goal in the 85th minute terminated the tie.
With a 1-0 win, Randal Kolo Muani’s desperate effort deflected off Vertonghen’s leg and caught custodian Koen Casteels off guard, propelling France into the quarterfinals. While England came from behind to defeat Slovakia 2-1 to reach the last eight of the competition.
