The sleeve patches at the FIFA World Cup 2026 have become a new attraction.
New sleeve badges and patches have been introduced at the FIFA World Cup, courtesy of a long-term collaboration between FIFA and Topps Trading Cards.
Players and teams who have won accolades at the summer competition will wear these badges on their jerseys. However, those will be removed from match-worn shirts immediately after games. Then they become physical memorabilia for football fans to collect inside packs.

The Gold Badge at the World Cup will be worn by the teams that have won the prestigious tournament. At the 2026 edition, it will be worn by seven teams. The list of the seven teams and their title triumphs is below.

Golden Boot winner’s patch
The Golden Boot winner’s patch has been given to the players who have won the coveted accolade at the tournament. Three players in the 2026 edition of the World Cup have it on their jerseys.

- Harry Kane (England): 2018 FIFA World Cup
- Kylian Mbappe (France): 2022 FIFA World Cup
Golden glove winner’s patch

Much like the Golden Boot winner’s patch, the Golden Glove winner’s patch recognises the goalkeepers who have been named the best at the tournament across different editions. Three goalkeepers are donning it in the 2026 World Cup.

Legacy patch
The legacy patch has been given to the players who have appeared in five or more editions of the tournament. Five players in the summer competition have the legacy patch.
