The competition has now reached the quarter-final phase.
The last 16 of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 ended on July 1st, leaving eight teams remaining. As a result, both sides of the bracket are now aware of the possible matchups leading into the final.
In the quarterfinals, we have two Champions League final rematches coming up. Paris Saint-Germain, the current champions, will play Bayern Munich, the 2020 champions, who defeated them five years ago.
Any hope of a rematch between Inter Milan and Manchester City was ruined by Fluminense, and later that evening, Al Hilal pulled off their own upset victory after sending Pep Guardiola’s squad packing.
The lone Premier League team left in the campaign, Chelsea, are hoping to ruin these Cinderella tales for the rest of the competition.
The Blues will face Palmeiras, while Al-Hilal are set to encounter Fluminense. On the other side of the bracket, Madrid will play Dortmund, and PSG will take on Bayern.
Real Madrid faced Juventus in the round of 16 and dug out a narrow win; meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund, who defeated Liga MX’s Monterrey, will face Los Blancos in the last eight.
As the round of 16 has concluded, here is a glance at the FIFA Club World Cup2025 bracket, which includes a sneak peek at the possible semifinal games.
