Which teams qualified from Group D?

The United States and Australia advanced directly from Group D to the Round of 32 at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The USA had already booked their place in the round of 32 when they defeated Australia in the second group match.

The Socceroos, who upset Turkey in their first encounter before falling to the United States, were never seriously challenged on Thursday. They earned a point to advance to the round of 32 at Levi’s Stadium in Northern California.

The Socceroos finished second with four points, qualifying for the round of 32. At the moment, Paraguay are now one of the eight best third-placed teams. It appears that they will also advance, while Turkey are eliminated from the World Cup.
