Matchday 5 of the FIFA World Cup 2026 concluded with draws as none of the teams emerged victorious; instead, each nation shared a point in their respective fixtures.

Another matchday of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and another thrilling day of competition. It all started with Cabo Verde holding off Spain’s danger and earning a historic goalless draw. Belgium and Egypt drew 1-1, while Saudi Arabia and Uruguay followed suit shortly after. Iran and New Zealand then played a thrilling World Cup match, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
