Another contest that culminated in a draw was the Uruguay game against Saudi Arabia. The South American side were toothless in front of the Saudi defence.
They couldn’t muster many goals, scoring just a single goal in the 80th minute through Maximiliano Araujo. It helped them avoid a defeat in their opening FIFA World Cup game.
