Turkiye join Haiti in elimination from the 2026 World Cup.

Matchday 9 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup featured key group-stage games. Co-hosts the United States defeated Australia 2-0 to secure a place in the knockout tournament. Brazil rebounded with a commanding 3-0 win over Haiti.

Morocco edged Scotland 1-0, and 10-man Paraguay defeated Turkey 1-0. The United States officially became the second team to advance to the Round of 32. Meanwhile, Haiti and Turkey were officially eliminated from the tournament following matchday 9.
