FIFA World Cup 2026 Round of 32: Full list of matches, bracket & potential round of 16 games

We now head into the knockout stage of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
After 72 games, just 16 of the 48 teams at the largest-ever FIFA World Cup have been eliminated. The knockout phase with 32 nations is about to begin.
All of the pre-tournament favourites (France, Spain, England, and Argentina) advanced, as did a few surprise teams.
In their FIFA World Cup debut, Cape Verde advanced after drawing all three of their group-stage matches. The Democratic Republic of the Congo advanced beyond the group stage for the first time in their second World Cup (if we take into consideration when they used to be called Zaire). The Leopards (as Zaire) previously competed in the tournament in 1974.
Only three teams won all three of their FIFA World Cup 2026 group-stage games: Argentina, France, and Mexico.
