Galatasaray vs Tottenham Prediction, lineups, betting tips & odds
The Premier League team have known only victories this Europa League season.
Galatasaray are the defending champs and are top of the table (or shall we say top of the perch of the Turkish league). Sounds just about right. And they are about to face Tottenham Hotspur who are sitting at a not-so-pretty 7th position in the Premier table.
What makes this UEFA Europa League clash a thriller is that both of these teams are touted to go all the way in the competition and actually win it! Those are bookmakers’ predictions, not ours, but if we are to go by their recent forms we can expect goals.
Plus, Galatasaray aren’t really looking that menacing in Europe with two wins and a draw, compared to Spurs, who are sitting well with three wins out of three games so far. This match is huge for both sides.
Kick Off
Thursday, November 7, 5:45 PM UK (11:15 PM IST)
Venue: RAMS Park
Form
Galatasaray (in all competitions): D-W-W-W-W
Tottenham (in all competitions): W-W-L-W-W
Players to watch
Victor Osimhen (Galatasaray)
It’s like Victor Osimhen has found his second act in Galatasaray and he’s trying to right the wrongs from his time in Naples. On loan for now, but if he goes about contributing goals, four goals and three assists in seven games so far, it won’t be long before the Turkish giants would want to make his move permanent.
Heung-min Son (Spurs)
The Korean CR7, if you may. Heung-min Son has been the Captain that Ange Postecoglou might have wanted him to be. Spurs have not exactly been firing domestically but Son has been producing the goods. Maybe, he could do it again against Galatasaray to extend his team’s run to four wins out of four.
Match Facts
- This will be the first matchup between the two heavyweights
- Spurs are on a high in the UEL getting nine points from the available nine after the first three games
- Galatasaray are unbeaten in the league as well as in the UEL (with just two draws overall)
Galatasaray vs Tottenham: Betting tips and odds
- Tip 1: Match to end in a draw

Injury and team news
Galatasaray may again miss left-back Ismail Jakobs due to injury, and after their strong showing against Beşiktaş, their lineup is expected to stay mostly unchanged. They are going with the vibe: Don’t change something if it’s not broken.
Spurs, however, will be without Micky van de Ven, Wilson Odobert, and Djed Spence, with Richarlison doubtful after his recent injury against Aston Villa. James Maddison should return to the starting lineup, while young talents Archie Gray and Mikey Moore could also get in some minutes.
Head-to-head
These two sides have never faced each other before.
Predicted lineups
Galatasaray (4-2-2-2)
Muslera; Ayhan, Sanchez, Bardakcı, Yılmaz; Torreira, Sara; Sallai, Akgun; Icardi, Osimhen
Tottenham (4-3-3)
Vicario; Porro, Romero, Dragusin, Udogie; Kulusevski, Maddison, Sarr; Johnson, Werner, Son
Prediction for Galatasaray vs Tottenham
It’s at the Turkish giants’ home, RAMS Park. But with the Lillywhites getting some of their stars back from injury you can expect it to be an all-out attacking performance from both the teams. So, we are going with a goalscoring fest that should in a draw.
Prediction: Galatasaray 2 – 2 Tottenham
