Germany predicted lineup (Formation: 4-2-3-1)

GK: Manuel Neuer

Manuel Neuer had a comfortable day in the office as the Scots failed to have any shot on target. His distribution was spot on as he had a 90% passing accuracy. He was unfortunate to lose the clean sheet after an own goal from Rüdiger gave the visitors hope. Neuer has smashed over 120 appearances for the national team since breaking into the side in 2009. Neuer brings composure in the back and is excellent at making crucial saves for the team.

Gundogan had a wonderful outing against the Scots as it was the challenge against him that led to the penalty and sending off the Scot defender. Nagelsmann will be delighted that he didn’t suffer any injury as it would have been a huge loss for them. Gundogan had a wonderful season with Barcelona as he netted 5 goals and added another 9 assists to help Barcelona secure the second spot.

LW: Florian Wirtz

Florian Wirtz had an outstanding match against Scotland where he opened the scoring with a well-taken goal from the edge of the box after Kimmich’s wonderful pass to find him.
