Die Mannschaft are the host of the Euro 2024.

When Germany host Euro 2024 this month, they will be trying to make their home advantage count.

Despite winning the European Championship three times, Die Mannschaft haven’t taken home the trophy since 1996. Three years prior, Germany performed poorly at the European Championship, losing 2-0 to eventual runners-up England in the Round of 16.

In this event, if Germany wins Group A, they will play Group C’s runners-up, probably Denmark as they are the favourites. Later if the Germans make it through that, the winners of Group B, who many anticipate to be Spain, will probably be their opponents. The Spaniards will have to beat the third side whosoever gets the nod from Group A, D, E or F, to make this happen.

After that, there might be a semifinal matchup with Slovakia, Portugal or the Netherlands. Furthermore, Germany might play against France or England in the championship match. If everything goes as per the plan, the host nation can win the Euro this time in 2024.
