The four-time world champions started off on an underwhelming note. They need to fix that for the upcoming games, or they can face tough competition against the top contenders. The German national football team secured three more points and have now secured a spot for the round of 32.

The Julian Nagelsmann-led side faced some issues in the final third and the Ivory Coast did fancy their chances in the first half, but lost all three points after a poor performance in the second half.

The Ivory Coast national football team had a one-goal advantage in the first half. Their performance in the other 45 minutes was not very good. The Elephants must be looking to come up with a better performance in their remaining game.

5. Germany’s second-half comeback

The DFB Team looked weak in the first half against both Ivory Coast and Curacao. Their approach to the game switched in the second half. Their attacking intensity increased and it helped them score two goals in the second half. Julian Nagelsmann’s men looked composed in the midfield during the other 45 minutes and that surely helped them.
